Cartec Diamond Cut 3000 Polishing Compound - 1 Litre

Cartec's Diamond Cut 3000 (1 Litre) is an exceptionally deep polishing compound, ideal for weathered, hard, and scratch-resistant paints. It quickly and effortlessly removes deep sanding scratches, spray fog, orange peel, dust, and dings. With fast application, easy buffing, and an immediate high shine, Diamond Cut 3000 saves time while delivering excellent results.

Diamond Cut 3000 is the latest in compounding and polishing technology, providing Extreme Cutting Power without the mess, risks or headaches you get from old school compounds. Released in 2017, Diamond Cut 3000 was developed over a period of 18 months in Cartec's labs in The Netherlands. It has a huge amount of cut, without making the mess that other compounds are known for. Also, no water is needed to use the Diamond Cut 3000 due to its self lubricating formula.

Diamond Cut 3000 does not contain any fillers, meaning flatting and sanding marks will not drop back after the vehicle has been washed, a major complaint of other compounds. Silicone and ammonia free, it also will not leave white marks or blemishes on plastic and rubber parts. This product is 100% bodyshop safe.

With unique “high-precision” technology REFINISH polishing products guarantee a fast, high-gloss and hologram-free result for every situation. The products are suitable for both rotary and orbital machines and are 100% silicone free. The colour coded polishing pads (which differ in coarseness) and seamless microfibre towels, provide user friendliness and an amazing final result.

APPLICATION

Determine the working surface within shoulder width and six times the area of the polishing pad. Apply 3 pea-sized dots (for ⌀150mm) of Cartec Diamond Cut 3000 to the polishing pad.

• Rotary: take the Cartec green pad for rotary machines (RF2110 for ⌀150mm). Spread the product on the lowest setting and increase the speed to 1200 – 1500 rpm.
• Dual Action: Take the Cartec green pad for dual action machines (RF2116 for ⌀150mm). Spread the product on the lowest setting and increase the speed to 3500 – 4800 rpm.

Work in sections while applying even pressure. Continue until the scratches are removed. Clean the surface thoroughly with the Cartec Microfibre Cloth Green (RF2203C) to remove all polish residue.
